? Bad cat converters

rgriffin Registered User Join Date: Jul 2007 Location: atlanta, ga Posts: 91	? Bad cat converters My CEL light came on. Went to shop and they reset it and said the code was saying the catalytic converters were probably going bad. They said $800 each for just the parts, and that there are 2 of them. Anybody with expertise in this area? Sometimes I hear that there are 4 cats. Anyone know how to get them cheaper?
