Why I love my parking spot

Look who is parking next to me at work! I guess I don't have to worry about door dings now!

Observations

His is cleaner. Ha.

I love his rims... except he has authentic Carerra rims -not replicas... I can tell because there is so much fender overhang above the rear wheel.

Judging by his parking spot ID, seems like he should be in a BMW.

I see you're both lowered. What did you use to lower 986speedster?

Cool pic!

Actually hers is cleaner, just back from the detailers, and I had been out driving to meetings all day . Your right on the parking lot ID's... and the next car in the row is an M3 Cab, so maybe they need to switch spaces!

Her car is really nice, the roll bar and center console are painted red, and I believe that she has H&R springs on it.

Mine is the dirty one still on the winter tires (going to put the summers on this weekend). I have H&R springs as well with custom valved Bilstein sport shocks and a few GT3 suspension items. I also have 15mm spacers all around.

It was a neat sight as I left the office last night, so I had to snap a few quick shots.

986, how is the ride with the Elbachs and 19's?
What size tires are you using with the 19's?

I am going to change out my coilovers and go back to springs. I am just curious how you like the 19s on the springs?

Thanks

Hey boxs2000,
Did you get a new paint job? Your bumper looks flawless! Really nice!

BTW Gary,
How do you get any work done?? If my car was just outside my window, I'd be looking at it all day!

Thanks, but all original paint. Just favorable lighting as my front end has quite a bit of road rash. The zaino helps make the color deeper but still lots of rash especially since I have been killing those cones in autocrossing

I don't work in one place every day, but I have had occasion to park right outside where I'm working and I did find myself peeking out the window at my car a lot.

mdex, better watch out if you go to get your car and find a third one there. Then you'll know your car as been naughty!

Did somebody say lowered black Boxster's?

Sorry for the shameless hijack. I need to find the money for some aerodynamics this year, your cars look great!
