Cool Question re: leather covering over parking brake

Have a 2000 Black on Black. Just noticed the end of the leather covering on my parking brake is cut off. Has anyone replaced the leather covering and if so, where did you purchase a replacement?
If you DIY, did you cover the old covering, or did you cut off the original and replace it with the new covering?
Thanks

Eric

i've just bought a secondhand parking brake with great condition leather for £35($70) it was an upgrade part compared to the one i have already. i just unbolt the old tired one and bolt in the newer one, does'nt really answer your question but i found this easier for me
