I have it on my non-s. This has been discussed many times here if you want to run a search. Personally, in hindsight I do not think any of the tuning software is worth the price unless you are running a turbo. In spite of what they say you are only going to pick up a few HP. There just isn't much more to squeeze out of a N/A engine.

The software indicates a difference from 250 to 272; I can't verify but I can certainly feel a bump in all gears-

I have it, and love it. 91 oct programming is mild. The 100octane is NICE!

Yeah, they can. It's called the butt dyno. I heard it's not real accurate, but it seems real to be the popular choice.

I had one done, but DUH! it was on stock programming. The next one, I'll get race gas in there, and put it on the 100oct programming.
I was just too excited to be getting on a dyno, that I forgot to switch the programming from stock to the "level 1 91 oct"

So it's programmable? How do you control it?

My local Porsche tuner/racing shop offers a free 5 hour trial with the Revo so you can see if you like it first. I haven't taken advantage of the offer yet but I plan to sometime this summer.

Benny, I can get 93 Octane around here at most stations although I usually buy Shell or Sunoco. Anyway, how much does the 100 Oct cost?

Sunoco has 100 for $8.25 down the street outside Philly, not a good investment.

the last time that i filled up 100oct at the pump was over 3 months ago. that that time, it was under $6.00
I use a product called Torco. Its not a "octane booster" even though thats what it does. They call it a race gas concentrate. Either way, I know it works. We use it in a 1.8T, and we do data logging, and we set timing, and boost, and with the Torco, we can increase both, and we log timing, and we don't see it get retarded. its good stuff. 1 $20 bottle will make ~10 gallons into 100octane. (roughly, I forget the actual numbers).
Its more for ease of use, and for those that don't have 100oct. at the pump.
