Paint Question-NuBe

Here is another paint question. Again being new and unfamiliar with Porsches I would like to know where paint code is. I have a Red 2000 Boxter. Is there an aftermarket paint such as: Duplicolor or Plasticote that makes a matching touch-up paint or is it a dealer only thing?
Tks.,
MR.G.

The dealer is the only place with official touch-up paint, but there are a few websites with quarts, spray cans, and pens with matched paint.

You should have a paint code sticker in the front trunk. I think is located on the right side under one of the black panels. The paint code is also listed in the opstions sticker located under the front hood and a second copy should be in your maint. book.

Here is a list of Porsche colors & codes for years 97-04 from Yoseif's site.

Is there a good DIY guide to touchup? I have a couple of spots that could use it but I certainly want to do it right.

Do the Pens do a good job?
