				Thoughts on my ordered mods?

			987 2.7 Boxster

Why am i modding a 2.7 you ask? I got the car new with 10K off the price so it was hard to justify 20K extra for an S. Plus I like modding my cars and I have held off for two years.

Already installed:
Clear corners
Cayman S tips
19" Carrera S wheels
Debaged rear

Ordered and in transit:
Carbon side intake vents
OEM front splitters
EMOS intake
H&R Front and Rear Sways
15mm spacers rear
6mm spacers front
Carbon mirror cover
GT3 front grill
B&M Short throw

Deciding on:
PSS9 or JIC CROSS

Waiting on:
Softronic software, plenum and throttle body

I'd really like to know your driving impressions after you install the sway bars. I think that's going to be my next upgrade for my car, but I might do them one at a time.

Decided on the PSS9's since I won't be tracking the car on a regular basis. Getting them installed tomorrow and then the sways next week so I should be able to tell pretty fast what they do for me.

nice! where in cali are you? I would have said not to the JICs. I've heard some bad stories about them falling apart. And, not not one of those internet stories, but on my friends car, more than once.

all ths mods sound good to me. get some kind of exhaust too, you'll love how it sounds with the EVO intake.

Saw the car today, PSS9's installed and they wanted me to come in to check the ride height. One finger rule works for me. Spacers and Bars going in tomorrow and the Carbon side vents arrived today too.
Not sure if I want to do exhaust as I like the note already, but of course, you never know
Still deciding on whether to keep my Carerra S wheels or switch to aftermarket. I like the Sevas R5's. The only problem is having to buy new rear tires too since I would want to go wider then 9.5 and 265 tires. Deep dish looks so weak without a 10.5 or 11 with 295

I am in Silicon Valley.

Got the car back today from the suspension work!
PSS9's installed and H&R front and rear sways, alignment, corner weighted, 15mm spacers in the rear and 6mm in the front.

Before front was -.3 and rear was -1.5
Cross was 48.8%
Left was 51.8% and rear was 53%

After front is -.5 and rear is -2.2
Cross is 51.2%
Left was 51.8% and rear was 53%

Ebay CF mirror covers was an easy installation with 3m two sided tape included. The Ebay CF side fents came with silicon sealent the glue them on the stockers (assuming I had a caulking gun) and was a little tough to push the silicon out but they are curing tonight.

The wheels came flush with the body and no more submarine look with the 19" Carrera S wheels. The car handles much better now. The steering is more direct and slightly firmer, the ride is very close to stock with the rears set at one click away from soft and the fronts 4. The only thing I am worried about is the ride height, it's slammed and real close to the ground. Underbody has not rubbed yet on speed bumps but I do hear the plastic guards rubbing over it.

I recommend this setup to any boxster owner and although it was an expensive suspension setup, it brings me smiles when I drive it and look at it.

Pics tomorrow (in a new thread) when I install the CF vents.

if you paid for the cross weighting. i'd go back. 5.18% is not close enough. at least not for me, and not if you paid money.

my car is literally at 50%, with me in the seat, with my helmet on. it only took me 15 minutes to set it that accurately, but then again, i wasn't that far off to begin with.

everything else sounds great!

Is this camber? Why not more negative camber up front? You should be able to get at leat -2 in the front. Heck, stock you can get, typically, -1.5 to -1.8. Typical alignment has the rear camber only about .5 more than the front. This would also improve handling. With -2.2 rear you may find a need to frequently order rear tires
