First sneak peak at my new 997 GT-3 bumper
Okay, so this isn't the best picture, but I just took a quick shot last night of my new bumper after installing it. I will take more pictures soon.

If you are referring to the fog lights, then I decided against them. Wat to much glass next to the stock shaped headlights of the 986. It just does look good together.

My camera battery is dead. I charge it for hours and it says the charge is full, then when I go to use it, the camera tells me the battery is low and I can only get 2 pictures before my digital camera shuts down. It sucks and is driving me crazy. Time to get a new battery.

Love the look of the 986 GT3 ![Cool](http://www.986forum.com/forums/images/smilies/cool.gif) Where did you paint the bumper and what does it cost to paint it?
Also, is the bottom piece removable as on the 997 GT3 or integrated in the bumper? Curious since it may be scraped when going up on driveways.

Well for the paint, I did not want to be cheap this time around so I called Park Place Porsche my local dealership in Plano, Texas and asked them who paints all their cars and they told me STUART'S Paint & Body in Dallas. So that's who I used. Cost me $500. I have to say, it is the BEST DAM PAINT JOB EVER! I am so pleased with it. Worth every penny. Extremely durable. They must use allot of flex agent and several coats of paint because I had pushed, pulled and tugged the hell out of the bumper when I was putting it on. I kept thinking I was going to cause some spider webbing effects in the paint or start some cracking, but not one spot was effected during my install. I have had several bumpers painted over the years and this one is by far the best. Stuart's does mostly high end cars but they also do regular cars also.
As for the lip, yes it is removable. I was thinking the same thing about the car scraping, that's why I painted that part myself with some flat black Rustollium textured paint. It has a nice rough feel to it like our bumperrets do and gives it that stock finished look. It's very durable and can take a beating and wont chip off. It looks amazing!
