Battery replacement after storage

With all the great information and help on this site I have now purchased a 2001 Boxster S. I've had a great ride from California to Washington, unfortunately for me, I've had to place the car into storage for 3 months due to winter weather before I can get it home. I was not able to hook up a battery maintainer and am expecting to replace the old existing battery to re-start it. I do have the radio code however I'm wondering if there will be any other electrical/electronic/computer issues I should be planning for when I go to start it up again? thanks

Congrats on the new car!

Maybe to re-teach the window function...full auto up & down.

Manual or Tip tranny? I ask because a Tip tranny may need a little while to re-learn your driving style.

put window down all the way down and hold switch for 2 more seconds. Then all the way up and hold for two seconds. Then get out, run to the back and rub each bumperette simultaneously for 5 seconds and you'll be good to go.

ok - so you don't have to rub the bumperettes However, the rest will get you going. Not sure which MY you have, but IIRC the '97 (& maybe '98) MY did not have auto touch on the passenger window.
