lic plate lights

I assumed changing the licence plate bulbs would be pretty straight foward.

I have the light assemblies hanging by a wire but cannot seem to figure out how to get into the light. To change the bulb.

Any help??

Never mind i figured it out

I unscrewed the 2 phillips screws and the whole housing came down as in one piece. After playing with it it became very clear it was seperate pieces and when the car was repainred last year they painted right over the lights.

The rubbergasket was painted into position and my screws matched th color of my car perfectly.

At least they did not paint over my lenses.

Hope this is entertaining to you guys.

Have a great night.

or here

What are your opinions of these options?

Do you really want to make your license plate more visible? Makes it easier for others to call you in to the popo.

Well I had one of the bulbs blow out and the POO POO pulled me over for it. Because they could not read my plate "clear enough".

No tickets issued it was a "fix it before someone else gets you", stop.

Plus I have a tinted license plate cover that I want to reinstall, and if I can light it up more at night I would be less likely to get pulled over for it. Sounds like an oxymoron or a waste of time, but the cover looks sharp during the day. the car looks like it is missing a detail with everything so dark except this reflective plate.

Plus, I have this sickness....Modders anonymous where are you??

Plus...ok no more pluses.
