I hate to chime into this argument; but the spoiler does not always slow you down, it will cancel the affect of lift in the front which will slow you down.

I am only repeating experience and the physics of the subject.

Please don't argue with me, I am only trying to clarify the mis-conception, that seems to be so prevalent about spoilers, wings, air dams etc...

Before you do argue and I know you will, please read about it.
If you need some online reference points go to NASA

All I am going to say is do you think all the racing Porsche's would have them if it slowed them down. Please tell me because then I better disable mine.
