This is a used boxster logo (that I ripped off my car a while ago) that I finally decided to do something with.
I painted it matalic silver and coated it with two coats of clear coat.
Then I mounted it onto my bra.
What do you guys think?
HOW TO WITH USED BADGE:
1 - clean surface and back of badge
2 - coat the back of the badge with Elmer's glue and let it setting over night, this will allow you to apply glue later without it soaking into the left over foam
3 - prime the surface of the badge, if using a paint brush make sure to make the same directional strokes and DON'T BLOT
4 - let primer cure(sit) for a day
5 - paint the badge your desired color
6 - let paint cure(sit) for a day
7 - coat the paint with one coat of dull oat or clear coat
8 - let it dry out for a couple of hours
9 - coat the first coat with GLOSS COAT (this will give it a nice shine in the sun and bring out any matalic paint you may have used)
10 - clear area of bra you wish to put the badge and make sure it is dry
11 - apply small dots of Elmers glue on the badge, one inch apart from each other
12 - place badge on desired location of bra
13 - take badge off and you should have a white glue outline of the badge on the bra
****THIS PART YOU MUST WORK FAST BECAUSE ELMERS GLUE ACTS LIKE AN ACCELERANT TO SUPERGLUE
14 - apply super glue all over the back of the badge including over the Elmers glue (remember to be quick)
15 - Place the bage back onto the bra using the glue dots as a guide
16 - press badge firmly (be careful not to sick your fingers together) and it should be solid in 5 mins
17 - let bra sit for an hour before you put it on your car
