Does This Look Like A GPS Antenna?
I received my TrafficPro today. It looks fine, but I'm not sure DPS Motorsports sent me the correct part for the GPS antenna. Here's what I purchased from their web site:
http://www.dps-motorsports.com/afterMarket/ViewDetails.aspx?prod=8538
Here's what they sent:

The part numbers match. The DPS web site says GPS antenna, but the bag says antenna wire. I've sent them an e-mail requesting clarification, but I was wondering if anyone else knew for sure. My guess is that it is the wrong part.
Thanks for your help.

Looks like you got only the extension cable for the antenna

Right now, the Traffic Pro is making a nice paper weight.
I called DPS today. The representative said that they just received the GPS antennas from their supplier and would ship mine today.

I installed the Traffic Pro yesterday. (The Nav antenna arrived on Friday.) At the same time I installed a 6-channel amp from a 996.
My initial impression is that it is a nice upgrade from my CDR-220 and 4-channel amp. I think the system sounds better, but I'm not sure how much of the improvement is due to the amp and how much to the Traffic Pro.
The navigation feature is a little more difficult to use than the touch-screen Garmin I have, but it looks like I will be able to pick it up pretty quickly. The installation was fairly easy, but I did not hook up the reverse feature. I may do that later, but I don't see a great advantage to it.
Since I was going to rehab my CDR-220 (peeling button and sticky knob issue) I feel like the upgrade is worth the slight increase in expense over the rehab.
