Actually, in many states, these warranties are considered insurance and are regulated by the insurance depts. These depts have complaint depts and again, depending on the state, can be quite responsive.

This is a good call too, it's inexcusable for these warranties to pull this nonsense. If they did their homework and decided Boxsters needed a special premium due to their propensity to blow up, then fine, however their lack of foresight isn't your problem.

I know it's been a ******************** lately, but bless this country for having all these levels of recourse for the consumer (without having too many and turning into a regulatory nightmare). It's by no means perfect, but it does put things in perspective vs. some places in the world.
