Ah &*#$, hit a phone pole...

So I come home in the middle of the day to get my keys to the truck. Have to park in the neighbor's spot because the building cleaning lady is in mine. His spot is a lot trickier because there's a telephone pole right by it as you circle out (easy to forget because it's dark in there between the buildings). I park, do my business, pull out, turn to full right lock and look over my shoulder to make sure I don't hit another car that's parked sideways, and *BAM*. Front left quarter area, pole smack

Strangely tho, when I got out I realized something. The pole...hit the fully turned wheel...right in the rubber. Not a scratch on anything.

That's Lucky!
I always avoid parking straight into a space, I always go to the back and pull through to the one in front. I don't mind walking, but it sounds like you have assigned spaces.
