Lots of people because people like blkboxster sell their cars there. There are a few scammers out there but most transactions are between guys like you and me. I bought a car on Ebay (I buy lots of things on Ebay) and it was a great experience. One should certainly proceed with caution and understand the risks before venturing there but it can be a great place to get a bargain.
