Get the Bose, no question, especially with how you have optioned the car. I dont know about new car stuff much, but the discount on a 2008 seems reasonable,

Gamegt, yes, get the Bose. It is a great system. CD's sound especially good. Sand beige lether is very nice. The cocoa top also looks good with your color choices vs the black, just a thought to consider.

A 10% discount is also very good. You'd be very hard pressed to get a better deal on a custom order.

Congrats!!

10% Discount sounds good, they won't discount at all around here.

I have the Bose and haven't been in one without it so I can't really compare, but from what I heard the non-Bose system is pretty bad.

Here are a couple of other options you might consider:

- 6 disk CD changer
- 19" Wheels - this is subjective but I think it really improves the look
- Sport Steering Wheel - this is a must the regular one is too thin and its a cheap
option, I think like $250.

Otherwise looks great. You are doing a nice job in minimizing the luxury items which usually don't hold value.

BOSE is good im my old bucket too. I have that DSP thingy and its the best stock audio system I ever heard in convertible. I've never been inclined to upgrade it.
But I am considering an in dash NAV with Sattelite radio.

although BOSE is fine the question ought to be what am I paying for it!!
What's it going for?

Do you listen to the radio often in your Boxster? Mine is not a daily driver and doesn't have Bose, but I like the sound of the motor/car and don't listen to radio/cd often, so it doesn't bother me at all. I"m sure it sounds better.

I must agree with Dr. Burton. Get the sport wheel. It looks/feels so much better than that standard wheel. Not sure if you can get it with Tiptronic though now that I am recalling your order list...

Good luck with it,

Good luck with it,
You can still get the Sport Steering Wheel (option code #435) with the Tip (code #249).
