My new ride!

I got a 01' S today! 52k on it,6-spd,Orient Red Metallic.

You guys were right,I had to be patient. It didn't have all the options I wanted but for the great price(I way low balled it never thinking they would accept) and other crap that came with, hardtop, rear speaker kit already installed,1 owner w/ records I couldn't pass. Thankfully I got a PPI done the car at Niello Porsche ($350....ouch),and they told me what was going out on with the car.......clutch is on it's way out(thing is heavy to press to the floor),the rear main seal is slowly leaking & c.v. boots. That didn't scare me,normal on Boxsters,no biggie.

Now for the fun part,986 S KICK A55! This 3.2L & 6-spd rocks! Even my Dad was impressed and he drives a 3.4L 996 daily. I honestly do not feel like it needs any more speed, feels fine as is.

The options;
239 - (?)
413 - Turbo Look Wheels(For Sale)
424- CD Compartment (Also for Sale)
437- Electric Seat Passenger
438 - Electric Seat passenger
454 - Auto Speed Control
490- Hifi
502 - (?)
537 - SEATING POSITION CONTROL FOR CONFORT SEAT, LEFT
551- Wind Deflector
584 - *(anyone know this one?)
659- Computer (overrated,I still have yet to use it)
680- DSP
692 - CD Changer

I think one of those that I don't know is the hardtop.

I'd like to thank everyone that contributed to the Boxster S fund,I greatly appreciate. James dude I can't thank you enough for your help looking for another Boxster.

Now for the fun! I get to a do a 60k tune-up all over again! It's fun going through everything again, except now I'm 100% sure what I'm doing this time.

Who wants to sell me Litronics?

Nice work, Blink. You sure have a knack for finding the rare colors. You'll like the hardtop. It's really nice, not only for cold weather (since you won't need it for that), but also for changing the car's personality. What color is the interior, gray or tan? I can't tell.

Wow, a brand new blank canvass. Here we go again...

Yeah the hardtop is pretty funny. Everyone that said they don't like Boxster before, they now love it with the hardtop....too bad it's already off the car,I bought a roadster for a reason.

The interior is grey. I refuse to post pics of the interior until I get the center console painted and give it my own touch.

nice ride dude!
first i would take off the hardtop and install a german aftermarket exhaust system. (exhaust and header) pls do not buy muffler for less then 1k otherwise your car will sound like a tin can. i recommend the following mods: FVD, Ruf or Cargraphic.

lastly, make sure to send some pics with girl..

happy motoring,

Here are the codes:

502 - Production in Valmet
584 - Storage Above the Engine

I have never seen 239. It could be the hardtop.
Correction - 239 is 18" Wheels
