just took ownership of my first Boxster...

I ended up searching for the last couple of months and ran across a 2004 S limited edition manual 6 speed and just fell for the brown/cocoa interior and top and silver exterior. Has had 1 owner all serviced at the same location and only 26,200 miles. it is still under warranty. I have to say I am glad I did not jump at the first boxster I saw. this one is number 64 of 1953 made.

I wanted to thank all the people who posted before me, as I lurked quite a bit and spent a lot of time reading. it helped me in looking at and speaking to the dealers and owners and knowing what to ask and look for.

Of coarse I forgot to get the radio key.... oh well.. can't win them all.

Congrats! Let's see a few pictures!

And if you mean the radio card with the radio's reset code, just post over on renntech and I believe Tool Pants has software to determine your code. The radio keys do not normally come with the car unless the previous owner bought them to remove the radio.

(Yah, this my 300th Post! )

nice car.
the 2 tone carerra classics and the cocoa interior are the bee's knees.
i stole your tail lights too btw.
congrats on the purchase.
now you need to go out and buy some mods.
maybe an exhaust, chip, intake and headers. you'll spend $2500 or so and get at least 10-12 hp. well worth it.

robsven-

Congrats and welcome to the great world of Boxster ownership - LE to boot! She looks great!

For radio key, IIRC, you have the CDR23 head unit which is the MOST fiber optic set up. As such, there is no key code needed for the radio. If one is needed (I highly doubt), especially since yours is still under warranty, local dealers will usually provide at no charge w/ proof of ownership (radio serial #, vin # and owners card).

Drive her in good health and let the mods/hacks begin

Robsven, congrats on the new car. That is a very special Boxster. The SE has lots of extra little perks. Cocoa is a great color of leather. I might get this the next time.

Do you think the SE holds its value better than a like Boxster with similiar options and mileage?

This 550 edition is awesome, I remember when it came out I kept drooling when I saw it on the net.
The best parts about it are the interior, the taillights and the exhaust tip..
Really unique, congrats!
