MAF cleaning

Hi, just doing a mini tune-up. Is it ok to pull the MAF Sensor to clean it even if there is no problems related to it.I mean can i just unsrew pull it out spray clean it and plug it back in and start the car up and drive? Or is it something u dont want to touch, move around and handle it to much. Its a 2003 boxster.

Hi, Congrats for your car .
Regarding the MAF I wouldn't touch it unless you have some sort of problem, it must be working just fine. Where in Canada are you from?

Talking

Hi, yes that may be true but I think it's more of a side effect from having to replace the sh!!!ttttty MAF with a $200.00 new one, makes us feel better if we convince ourselves the car goes OHHHH SOOOO MUCH FASTER

Send a message via AIM to djomlas
when my MAF went bad, it felt as if it lost about 200hp, so getting a new one did really improve things.
it was bad tot he point where i had to push it back in the driveway, couldn't even drive it.
