The $5k piston thingy

I asked Marc if internals could be beefed up to allow higher boost and hence more horsepower. He said he could replace the pistons with lower compression pistons, different rings, rod bolts, things such as that so the boost could be bumped up. He said he would do the rebuild for like 5 or 6 grand, which is less than most people would charge, but he was personally interested in doing it so would cut me a deal. I don't know how much boost you could run, but he said it was a 500 hp build, and the running gear on the S is already so good that you wouldn't need to do anything else to it. Sure, another 5 or 6 grand on top of the turbo install is a bunch of money, but for the cost of an engine transplant, you get double the stock output. C'mon, let's think "group buy" here!
