@spark00

The mod wasn't difficult once I got the hang of it and the second light definitely went smoother than the first. Don't confuse that with being easy. Still not sure if I would try it on expensive litronics. Several times I thought for sure something important would break, great scratched, or otherwise be damaged. Because of the angle you can not reach all parts of the diffuser with a soldering iron and eventually I just had to grab what I could with needlenose pliers, pull, and hope it didn't whip around inside and take out the reflector. Steady hands was one of my primary concerns going in but for once they didn't shake. Too much on my mind trying to be careful and figure out the best method as I went. And quelling hand tremmors was actually my joke behind loading the table with beer bottles for the "prep" photo.

You sank my battleship!

I was just busting your chops on the other thread requesting pix. Here they are.

That's cool, you can see Dallas city hall from your garage/roof! I wanna see your loft.

The lights look great! But I will not be attempting this on my lights, as an error on just ONE unit will set me back roughly $1800. Besides, I'm finished with mods on my car (I might be the only one on the board that's "finished.")

Great pix!
