shanec Registered User Join Date: Aug 2007 Location: Mississippi Posts: 3	radar detector damages windshield? Just bought an Escort Passport. The manual says some cars, "including some Porsches", have a coated windshield which can be permanently scarred by the suction cup mounts of the radar detector. Consult your dealer...blah blah blah. What's the scoop on this pertaining to the Boxster?
