Minilites/Panasports

That style of wheel was popular for racing back in the 60's and 70's. They were stronger than stock/steel wheels and usually lighter. Originals were magnesium. They also came with a splined hub to replace wire wheels with knock-off hubs (wires had a great look but were not a great wheel for racing.) I expect they are a bit heavy by modern standards for racing/track -- when minilite moved on the minilite replicas were aluminium and not as light, cheaper but heavier. May be a cool look on a boxster but may be a bit too retro. I have never actually seen them in a wheel bigger than a 15". May be cool to see a photoshop picture.

Yes someone with photochop skillz please step in.

The deal is we need 10 sets to get them custom drilled. They'd be 5 lug and whatever offset we'd want. I believe they are JWL, TUV rated.

Those are hot. One of the reasons I love the Carrera Sport wheel is because of it's resemblance to this sort of style.

But, for a track wheel, unless those are like really light and strong, you're probably just as well served going out and buying something else already on the market--someone's old swirlies, or what not.

Good looking wheel! Looks similar to my new wheels.
