horn problems

hey everyone,
Well I'm happy to have had my car worked on and my 2001 Boxster is now virtually like brand new...one problem: the horn doesn't work sometimes...for example, I would be driving and hit the horn and it doesn't work, but then after turning off the car the horn would work...any ideas about the cause? Thanks!
Bill

There was some discussion about horns on Rennlist. Apparently one new owner has had their horn replaced under warrantee, as it's a "defective" design. Another member dm_n_stuff (I believe) replaced his with a Hella kit.

If you've got some warrantee left I'd check with the dealer. Then again you might check with them anyway...

Good luck.

Is anything else electrical acting weird? Could be a faulty ignition switch.
