New problem wonder if someone can HELP

Well i had the pioneer navigation avic 3 installed into my car . I now experience the alarm going off at different times of the night when the car is locked. The one wire i think it's the remote or power wire that use to go behind the factory radio is just hanging around it has the female connector on it. I think it's the remote wire or power wire not sure but it is not hooked up to anything.

Did you disconnect the alarm wire from the chasis of the factory radio? If you didnt then the alarm is still looking for your factory radio and thats why your alarm is going off.

Search the forum and you will find plenty on stereo installs.

not to sound stupid but before I posted this I did a search on the forum. The wire that you speak about is disconnected and is just flaoting around loose in the back of the new pioneer avic gps . Is it got to be connected to something or maybe grounded? Please explain what i got to do with it since it does not connect to the new radio or the cage around the new radio
