Porsche Hybrid?

http://money.cnn.com/2007/07/24/autos/porsche_hybrid/index.htm?cnn=yes

Could be a decent commuter... I wonder how well Porsche will pull it off.

glad to see porsche staying on the cutting edge of new technology.
hopefully they'll learn from honda and ford though.
hybrid civic sales are really low.
hybrid accord discontinued.
hybrid ford escape not selling.
toyota prius still flying off the lots.

why? people don't want to spend $$$ to save $.
but people do like to pay for that "hey look at me I have a hybrid from the future"

Never said it was the 'first Porsche hybrid', now did I?

Dr. Porsche did some pretty cool stuff. The Cayenne, and now a potential hybrid has some people thinking the Porsche name is sullied or watered down... I don't really think that way. The 911 is still an awesome car, the Boxster and Cayman are both awesome, too!
