update on stereo...and how does the bose work?
had a prob with my aftermarket sony headunit in my '02s with bose system. was getting crappy reception; another lister sent me a wiring diagram. as i suspected, the antenna amp was not being powered. much better now. a lot of the diagram was unintelligible, so i still have a few questions:
1. is there an illumination signal in the porsche? something that tells the radio the brightness of the dash?
2. how is the bose system configured? looks like there's a central (bose) amp, that takes the speaker outs from the radio, then sends them to the speakers. the rca outs and sub out of the radio are not being used. it would be nice to control the level of the sub directly.
