Boxster vs M3 vs S2K vs 350 vs Skyline
Here is a good video of all these cars fighting it out on the track. I like how they show the heel n toe action of these drivers. The boxster was a 2.7L 217 hp model not the S as it says in one screen. It didn't fare so well against the competition, I don't know why they didn't use the S model considering what it was up against.

I guess the GTR did not count? I noticed when they gave the car positions, the S2000 was listed as second even though it was in third on the track.
The Boxster did not fair well, it wasn't even in the camera shots it was so far back.

Boxsters are anemically slow compared to what's available. Hate to say it, but it's true. The car never had a chance against an M3, and these other cars.
I'm selling my 2002 for that reason....

That's right. The GTR was the "Camera Car" even though all the cars had cameras installed and they show about 20 sec of video from the GTR during the whole thing. I don't know if you have heard of Best Motoring but things seem a little biased toward japanese cars....obviously you can see why. The GTR is in a different league with awd on this semi wet track. It blocked the M3 and S2k for about half the race. Bottom line is the GTR should've been out of there and they should of used a Boxster S instead of a base boxster.

Could have been a price thing. The S is a bit more than some of the other cars I believe.

I've seen that show before and it's awful. Those guys know less about cars than producting TV shows. No way in hell a Z beat out an M3, ceteris paribus. Zs are NOT good track cars. Take these shows with a grain of salt.

I really don't put any stock into videos of cars being driven fast unless I know the guys driving KNOW HOW TO DRIVE.
here's the best one I've seen in a loooong time, its been posted before but still excellent.
