Options ; ???

I am looking at used Boxsters. How can I tell what options the car may have?? Vin# ????.

Why not just ask the seller? Also, most options are visible so you can tell from pics if they have certain options with a couple of exceptions, like xenon lights.

On the underside of the front hood is a label that will have all the option codes on it. They're three character codes.

Get those, and then go to Renntech. They have a page that will tell you what all those option codes mean.

I found out something that i thought was pretty cool, If you take the vin# to a porsche dealership any salesperson can pull up window sticker list of the options in just a few seconds that were on that car from the factory.
