Battery Charger?

Hi, Purchased a Charge-O-Mat today from the local Porsche Dealer. Part number was 95504490054. I was under the impression that this charger was made in Sweden since it is made bt Ctek, but on the charger, it says made in China. Anyone else notice this? Thanks

Pretty much anything electronic is made in China these days, it's one of the world's lowest labor costs considering technical ability.

I'm concerned about getting stuck if the battery goes dead and I can't easily get into the storage space. I have seen cigarette lighter to cigarette lighter jump cords and thought this would be a great way to get to the battery. Will the Charge-O-mat do that or I am looking for something else?
