would any one like t participate in making an ultimate boxster?
heres what i have so far, starting to make some progress and its looking like somewhat a porsche.
if you would like to help out please throw out some ideas....wide body, wheels, lowering stance, front bumper, sideskirts, seats....things like that.
and if you can find some porsches or seats or wheels in this kind of an angle that would help out even more, or also a mirror image of this.
color? silver wheels? things like that...maybe cayman side scoop? decals of any sort?
maybe we can make an official 986forum.com car
yes i know this is pointless, but this is my first time doing somethign like this and id like it to make someting with lots of peoples input, and if no one shos interest, then o well...
BTw, everything is being redrawn and rebrushed by me, by hand so if something looks funky, please let me know hahah

Cool idea, this could be a cool car or get really ugly quickly
Well, this may draw big criticism, but what about the Zeintec style top?

well guys try and post some pics as well of these parts, so that i can make something out of them, or even better if they are at this or similar to this angle for reference and lighting purposes
and for wheels, plese try and post some pics of actual wheels that i can use on this car, as its realllllly hard to draw up wheels that will look real.

I would try to flare out the rear wheel wells a bit. Give it a big phat rear end.

Uh... just take a new 911 GT3RS and take the top off and add boxster intakes. Seriosuly though, the GT3RS is like the pinacle of awesomeness, just try to make it look like a boxster and youve just made yourself a millionaire if you could make them in real life.

yo djlomas, how do you do this? can you elaborate a bit on how you do these renditions? I've been trying to figure out a way to do a rendition of how I want my car to look after the modding is done, and what you're doing here iwth the artistic rendering is perfect

Im not a big fan of the "open" style of widebody stuff. To me it looks like the parts are just laid over the originals. The carrera gt can pull it off, but any aftermarket ones look tacked on. Try a "rolled" widebody where it does not create a giant air vent to nothing, lol. Also for good wide front fenders look up some pics of the GT3 cup cars.
heres some good widebody

Oh, I always have wanted to see this photoshopped, only I've never
attempted it (or maybe I did attempt it, but failed...)
Since you're going with a hard top, I'd like to see the double bubble
effect... Like on a Viper GTS
This may be extremely tricky to convey given the angle you have
decided to use in your rendering.

heres another quick update, just slaped on the headlights and windows to see what it would look like together...this may change a little bit with the effect and depending on what background i put it on, so i will have to get the REFLECTIONS figured out.
so if you have any cool background that would go with the theme of the car, please post that as well, id really appreciate it.
heres the pic.... somehow the tail light ended up being dar, hmm

No, the hard top/roof. Notice the roof of the Viper picture I posted.
See how the top of it curves downward towards the middle?

but anways, heres the latest update, still a little rough, just throwing some ideas around to see the overal look
is the back wheel at a akward angle or is it just me? ive been looking at it for some time now so everythings kinda blurry and looks fine from this point hahaha
and one more with different wheels

Maybe the wrong angle, but what about this hood from a GT3?
I know this angle won't work, but a pic of the first production Zeintec installed on a U.S. Boxster.
