Okay I have 5 speed yellow boxsters new to choose from and can take delivery anytime, but I am curious as to if I should hold out until the 2005 comes out.

How patient are you? The new Boxster is more of an evolution thing anyway. Slight increase in horse, minor body changes....stuff that Porsche tends to do frequently regardless of "generation".

It's more a matter of are you willing to wait for it?

Welcome to the Boxster Tip sub-club. You will bless the Tip every time you are stuck in traffic on the Tri-State.

Got my 02 boxster Tip (6k on the odi) in January.
Best 31k I've ever spent
I love the Tip considering most of the time that I'm in it, I'm on my way to/from work sitting in traffic working on my tan.
