when the car stops, do you still have electric power? my volvo s40 used to shut itself off at low speeds that was due to bad battery cells. it started up again fine but it reset clock and radio. changed the battery and everything worked fine.

leaking oil sounds like a bigger problem though.

Possible Air Separator failure. I had the same experience when mine failed.

I would NOT start the engine again! If it is a failing air oil separator, running your engine could result in catastrophic failure.

Get it towed to a competent Porsche mechanic to check it out.

ABSOLUTELY do not crank the motor until you can find out what is wrong with it!!! This initially sounds like a failing Air/Oil Seperator but if you at all question the health of an engine, especially with lubrication issues, do not run the motor! Get it to a qualified mechanic for diagnosis.
