I bought the Gold cap (15-50) for $5.30 a quart with no tax thanks to the PX (By the way, they are selling black cap OW-40 for $4.75). Right now there is OW-40 in the car (factory oil)...I need a little oil...does anyone see a problem with adding the 15-50? I plan on changing the oil in 500 miles anyway. Didn't know if mixing a slight amount of oil would be like crossing the Ectoplasmic rays and ending life as we know it.

No problem, go right ahead.

Good choice with the EP Mobil 1.
