Anyone know how much..

...abouts it would cost to get the front bumper repainted? I have this glaring scrape from taking a dip in some gravel and it got it underneath all over. I'm sure it varies, anyone have a ballbark for a metallic color respray?

Of course it depends who where you go and the quality of the job, but I would guestimate between $300 and $400 dollars. I need my hood repainted from stone chips so I need to get some figures myself.

Around Christmas, a friend of mine shot my new front bumper and the front clip to repair all the stone chips. Around the same time, Blinkwatt was asking about a reasonable price to paint a bumper. My friend told me $250 was about right.

I was quoted $300 CDN to have a bumper painted black. I guess it's the paint that costs a lot for a Porsche? The bumper on my old 95 Talon cost me $150 to repaint...

have had a tough time finding a place with a decent paint booth that charges less than $600 in this area. Once they see the brand of car it becomes "complicated".

Hmm, that doesn't sound too bad. The bumper has a few chips too, so maybe this will just be able to take care of everything at once.

I haves the same issues and am looking into this. I have two quotes but they include the bumperettes and filling the license plate holes. . One is $508 and one $600.

Your not asking dealerships or performance shops for quotes are you?

Those kind of places were quoting me $500-600 also.

I ended up grabbing the yellow pages and started calling local collision shops.

Most will give a cash discount also.

Send a message via AIM to blinkwatt
My quotes ranged from $300 from a PCA sponsor who did a good job painting my bumperettes to $900 to another PCA sponsored bodyshop. Guess who I'm choosing?
