Removing the 3rd brake light?
My smoked light came in today. Any de-install/installation tips? The usual service-mode protocol yes?

service mode, or just push the conv button till the camshel goes up.
there are only 2 screws holding it.
unbolt them.
unplug the connector,
install new one,
plug in
switch out the screws
done
thats is, no more than 2-3 minutes.
i had mine out over the weekend, as one of the bulbs surnt out

Eagerly awaiting pics. I've held off buying the smoked 3rd brake light simply because its difficult to tell if it matches the smoked portion of the taillights.

None taken! Ya I shopped around and the options were either clear/chrome-looking or smoked. I figured it matched my smoked tail lights pretty close. Hehe...
