clear bumper lights

Clear lights on the side of the bumper, are they all the same for 996/996T/986?

Anyone used the non OEM one's like are on ebay?

What's the difference if any?

I'm thinking about just ordering the clear/red tallights and clear bumpter lights from Suncoast but, just was wondering if there was a significant difference between OEM and the aftermarkets.

I am an OEM kinda guy, and the cost of the OEM are pretty cheap

I have aftermarkets. Nice and bright and they look good. Of course, the silver bulbs in them really make them look nice too... no "egg yolk" look.

I think OEM clear sides are only 25-30 bucks from suncoast.

how clear are your OEM ones? i bought OEM ones but it seems to be little smoked. i would've liked crystal clear euro version instead of smoked.

The OEM ones made in Germany are slighty smoked which is fine by me because it matches up with the lower section of my headlights perfectly. Yellow, all the 996 variants and the 986 use the same side markers.

not trying to hijack, but does anyone have the clear/smoked 3rd brakelight available from certain online vendors? I know its not OEM, but does it closely match the smoked color of the OEM sidemarkers or the smoked portion of the 03-on taillights?

Jeff
