Oops, I meant "weird." It's fortunate that spelling skills don't seem to be a prerequisite on 986forum (or any other forum, far as I can tell).

my car is 3x black and with the painted black bumperettes it looks so much cleaner.

I don't think it's weird at all. The car isn't any better with or without painted bumperettes...I think it's just personal preference, and if you like them unpainted, that's the way you should keep them. I feel the same way with the amber lenses...I personally like the car with clear look, but have many friends with Boxsters who prefer the amber. Either way, the car is still the same terrific car!
