Awesome day at the track today

Beautiful conditions, plenty of driving, and an AWESOME professional photographer there for us! Got my 2:06's (configuration 13) and left happy.

check out the heat on this one!

My first time driving the track with the top down. Hello, buffeting!

I'd like to get prints done, but didn't check into quality/price yet online - now I have a task to do before bed. The photographer was charging $20/print so I figured I had quite a lot of leeway in finding a cheaper price!

that is awesome.
a couple of questions for you.
how was the milage?
how did your tires hold up/what tires do you have?
run different brake fluid?

can't wait to get mine on the track.

That's a solid silver Boxster logo that a friend of mine in Greece made - I have one on both sides. Unfortunately, he doesn't make them anymore, which is too bad because they are fantastic.

9mpg (I assume that's what you are asking about 'mileage'), which is about right for that track. Many tracks I get 11mpg.

Tires are Nitto NT-01 and they held up fantastic. They wear better than Michelin Pilot Sport Cups, and are only the tiniest bit slower. This particular track is good on tires if you have the pressures right, and these like to be at higher pressures than PSC's.

I have Super Blue brake fluid - learned quickly that the OEM fluid won't work on the track. Boils quickly.

Very cool! I have not done Buttonwillow in my Boxter yet.

Orange Coast PCA is running Streets of Willow again May 7. Come on down. Full course, CCR with the bowl. It was made for Boxters.
