The rules I live by when purchasing a Porsche is:

1: Buy the newest one you can afford

2: Only consider cars with a known maintenance/repair history

3: Avoid wrecked/flooded/recovered/etc

4: Condition... Condition... Condition

This car obviously fails on #2, #3 and #4. The repair and maintenance of Porsches is so expensive it is (usually) not worth taking the risk. There are plenty of people who have bought a Porsche because it was a "good deal" only to spend thousands fixing things.
