I do not like orange cars. I had to make an exception for this one though... it is beautiful.

$177K??????
wow that's GT2 territory. But I guess it may be a collector piece.
As far as performance, there are well modified 996 gt3'/gt3rs's that are quicker and cheaper.

Yes, very nice, but $177K is a bit too much. We're talking Cup car territory.

Hmm, same power as regular GT3... is it just cosmetically different?

When people risk their lives, shouldn't it be for something very important?
Well, it better be.
But what is so important about driving faster than anyone else?
Lots of people go through life doing things badly. Racing's important to men who do it well.
When you're racing, it's life. Anything that happens before or after is just waiting.

The main "RS" has the widebody- larger fenders and wider bumpers - like the Turbo does whereas the regular GT3 is considered a "narrow body" car. Same motor as the regular GT3. Maybe some other small differences, I just cant recall them.

Who bid $180k for it?
Jesus...Get an f430 for that price.
By the way, the gt3 rs loses 40 lbs over the regular gt3....
And you get cool colors.
I'm not sure what else they do to it if anything.

These cars are collecting a massive premium right now. If I remember correctly they go for about $130,000 on a regular anyway so you are talking about a $40,000 premium for the first ones that hit the marker. Sounds about right to me.

MSRP is 170,000... the regular GT3 is like 109,000, agreed they arnt going for that much, but if your gonna beat the jonses you need to pay a premium.

Aren, you are "spot on" with this statement. I was at The Porsche Exchenge in Highland Park a couple weeks ago, and they were charging a $25,000 Premium for the GT3's they have in inventory (about 5).
