Yes, but not the whole cap. There is a 3/8" polished edge. Ralph called the black section an inlay. He said it is a modern day interpretation of a 356 cap. My Porshe knowledge doesn't go that far back, so I will take his word on it.

but then again i am so anti chrome anything pretty much

I like the fact that they are different... everyone on here is trying to make their car stand out from the rest, you have truly done so. I say if you like them, don't look for anyone else's approval; congrats and enjoy!

I like the chromes....I contemplated chrome carrera classics.....the rim I'm not particularly a fan of, I hear people say you love it or hate but it does provoke a strong sentiment....I feel your pain on the weather.....I hope cleaning them doesn't become a challenge! overall, nice change
