Don't forget to ask stealership on tires

I needed new front tires on the Box and checked around at the PX (for us military folk), Discount tire and NTB. Out of curiosity I asked the stealership where Lola is getting fixed and they quoted me a price about 100 clams cheaper than all the other places. They get the tires from Tirerack and had a large discount on mounting, balancing, etc. Definitely shop around, but don't forget to ask the dealer.

Interesting. In all of my experiences with different dealers this has never happened to me. I guess it is always worth a phone call.

bmuss....I believe Rail said Lola is having a hard time removing her top and Rail isn't too happy about that as she should be in the mood anytime he is. So now he's having her "fixed"

Hi Rail-
I'm familiar w/PX well...on a technical side. I support the EagleCash/EZPay SVC Program in Boston. Are you familiar with the program?

I had my dealer order, mount and balance my tires for about 100.00 more than I could just order the tires from trie rack, I was impressed.

Bmus, I am replacing the original Bridgestone Potenza RE050A's on the front. I got 28k out of them so I am not too upset.

Fab, not familiar with that...what is it?

TRIGEM, I was in the mood...she wasn't. I guess she won...typical female behavior. All I wanted was a ride and she had to make it difficult. Yeah, I went there.

I'm pretty sure that at my dealer, any tire I could get at Discount would cost at least 2X as much - plus labor at $175/hr for installation.
