Nice tail lights...

Anyone producing those tail lights?

Looks like a vinyl sticker. My friend Tom did it to his mazda protege.

Yep, look like stickers with round cut-outs. Not too good looking, either.

Looks very similar to those headlight covers. Although I don't like the tail lights, the emblem and porsche lettering looks really nice.

It looks like something off the 356. The "Porsche" lettering, not the crest IMHO.

+1. Ugly sticker on the tail lights. Very cool looking Porsche logo.

Straps?

What's with the leather straps? I believe the owner of this car should have bought a Becks Spyder and been a lot happier. The tailight cutouts seriously bite the big one, IMHO.

Bmuss is right. The emblem is from a 356. This one is on ebay right now.

You can also buy repops from a number of suppliers.

By the way, those taillights suck.

If those are in fact some sticky-on thingees, yeah then I totally agree -- it's tacky. However, what I was hoping for was that those were similar to the Italian Morette's after-market lights for the MX5:

Yep, that one picture really doesn't give the viewer the appreciation of the totallity of all mistakes made in modding that car.

I'm half tempted to get the clear/LED tails that you can find on Ebay...

I'd like to see a few better pictures of the rear end with them installed, tho.

I thought about those too, but I think they look too "ricer." I just bought the stock clear ones from Suncoast today. I will finally be de-ambered!!!

Funny you guys started a thread on new rear lights.... I just swapped out my old ones for the exact LED's in the attached thread. They dont look ricey at all, plus, rumors have it, the next generation Boxster coming in '08 will be all LED. So why not upgrade before? I think they look great, but there are others that look alittle ricey... do a google search for ULTRA lights from the U.K.
