It's very tough to tell from the pic you posted but it does not look like there is damage that is going to spread. There is a product for Boxsters called the boomerang which essentially is a bumper cover skid plate, you could consider that but I don't think you need it either. I know how passionate we are for our Porsches, maybe you should drop by a local body shop to ease your mind, personally based on the pic, I'd just leave it and be thankful it wasn't worse.
