Ahhhhh!

I finally broke out my new to me 2001 S as temps hit the mid 70s here in West (by God) Virginia. From an earlier post I made here the Box has been sitting in the garage sense I drove it home from Pittsburgh, PA in early January and what is funny is that the weather up till that point had been great but it went in the can as soon as I shut the engine off at home.

I was somewhat concerned with it sitting all that time because what little warranty I had ran out in the garage. I’m happy to report that all systems seem to be in the go mode, I rung it out pretty good today and I am impressed with the performance of the car over the 2000 Box I traded in…it seems the few extra ponies do make a difference.

As far as performance or sports cars go I have owned five Corvettes, two Supras, SLK 230 and a 350Z and this is by far the most fun I have had in a car. It may not be the fastest of the group but the handing is a ten plus, I feel more at ease in this car than any thing I have owned previously. I’m feeling pretty good about my purchase at this point and I know that can change but right now I know there is another twisting WV mountain road to tackle in the morning…top down and all!
