FS: Durametric OBD Tool

FS: Durametric OBD Tool

Great tool but I no longer have a need for it. It is the enthusiast kit for Boxster (986, 987), 996, 997 etc. You can check it out on the duramatric site (durametric.com) and download the latest software version.

$200

Which model is it? IIRC the $247 model is only licensed to do 3 cars, how many has yours been attached to?

It is the enthusiast kit. I don't think your information is correct. The tool is just the cable interface, I can't see anyway it knows how many cars it has been connected to. The software is freely downloaded from the durametric site as they are constantly updating it. Without the durametric cable the software is useless.

Todd is correct, it depends on which cable set you order, the Pro version has all cables included.

Software is free and not dependant on a licenced version being pre-installed for updates, actually you need to uninstall any prior version before installing the updates.

Paul -

The site does not use the English language that well, You are buying cables, the cables have specific interface diameters and not all P-Cars have the same interface connectors.

Enthusiast Package (3 options)

Option 1 works on:
Porsche Boxster, 996, 997 or Cayenne

Option 2 works on:
1996-1998 Porsche 993 with the trapazoid shaped connector

Option 3 works on:
Porsche 964 or 1994-1995 Porsche 993 with a round diagnostic connector

Professional Kit

Works on all of them, because all of the interface connectors they sell are included.
