Meanwhile consider drilling a drain hole under the seat and inserting a drain tube.


For my Off-Roadster I also coated the seal of the module with silicone grease, then put it in a heavy zip-lock bag sealed with tape. With multiple intrusions of water and mud into the car, the immobilizer module has remained pristine.

I believe it may have been you that turned me onto one from your collection... like 6...7... years ago.

Remains in my parts bin. SoCal, ya know.
