Brand New Fabspeed Boxster 986 Maxflo Exhaust

I'm selling my brand new Fabspeed Maxflo Performance Exhaust System (1997-2004) $2,500. It’s still in the original box. I installed it on my 2002 Boxster and drove for less than 10 miles, but decided to drive the car on the street and and run Fabspeed headers and stock muffler. I paid over 3,000 plus tax and shipping. My loss is your gain. All hardware included.

You've a 2002 Boxster, and we've never seen you until February 2024?

I'm sorry. Gotta call bull**************** on this one.

Unless you can prove it.

Fellas, keep your radar up.

OP, you should know better.

I got the Boxster last year, but I just signed up for this form. I’ve read many postings here and learned a great deal!! I’m a novice but I have done a lot of work on my Boxster with the help of this community. I’m a frequent buyer of parts from Pelican Parts.

What do you want to know? What proof do you need that I am real?

I’m still trying to figure out this community. This is a legitimate posting. No BS.

I’m a PCA member and these parts are posted on the site’s classifieds Mart! 😊

I joined the forum earlier last year, but it has been inundated with 1 or 2 post scammers. Hence the hostility.

That setup is tempting. Was it just too loud for your liking?

It sounded great and the additional horsepower is awesome! I live in California so it’s technically illegal to run that kind of exhaust on the street. I’m totally legit. Let me know if you’re interested in buying it. Thanks.

OK. Cool. Me HB 86-89. Now YV.

So... your setup... couldn't you squeeze in the cats, or would that negate the benefits of the setup? Your price is fair. Just wondering.

The OEM cats use slip clamp to the muffler. The Fabspeed system has V-band clamps on the cat bypass fitting so no go. I thought about having V-band clamps welded on the OEM cat so I could switch them for street use, but Fabspeed doesn’t use a standard V-band pipe fitting.
