wtb: 3.2 (00-02) or 3.4 motor
Hi all,
Looking for a good condition 3.2 from 00-02 or a 3.4 from an early 996 for my track car as mine made a nice inspection port in the case.
ims bearing replacement and chain pads done a plus.
doesn't need to be low miles, but under say 120k would be good.
pm me please if you have one for sale.
thanks.

I am thinking of parting out my '99 986 with a 2000 3.4 motor with approx. 65k miles. Upgraded to dual row IMS and equipped with an IMS DoF (direct oil feed) which IMHO is a way better (and permanent) fix than an LN bearing. Last three Blackstone readings (most recent one about two months ago) came back with excellent readings. Still in the car, still running, you can check it out and do a bore scope or compression test if you want. Way better and safer than any of the Pandora's box engines from Ebay and other dismantlers. Haven't checked going prices lately but I'll do some research if interested.

I'll throw my hat in the ring ... if Quadcammer doesn't bite I'd be interested in your 3.4
